"What 2 Billion Under 20 does is...prove through 75 examples the ambition and diligence of this coming generation. It is easy to attack a group with no voice, but through 2BU20, Generation Y is able to shout its dissent from the norm, disrupting the former status quo and the stronghold of the old." ~ http://usspire.com/the-future-is-young-ambitious-and-bright/.

What are the differences between XR, VR, AR, and Projection Mapping? (All Services Offered By Artmerse)

eXtended Reality (XR)

eXtended Reality (XR) is a catch-all to refer to augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). Sometimes the abbreviation "XR" is used to refer to both. The technology is intended to combine or mirror the physical world with a "digital twin world" that is able to interact with each other.

Virtual Reality (VR)

Virtual Reality (VR) describes the fully immersive experience which blocks out the external world through VR Headsets providing simulations.

Augmented Reality (VR)

Augmented Reality (VR) is an interactive experience that combines the real world and computer-generated content. The Holograms we saw in movies Star Wars & Star Trek are early examples of AR. The primary value of AR is the manner in which components of the digital world blend into a person's perception of the real world, not as a simple display of data, but through the integration of immersive sensations, which are perceived as natural parts of an environment. This experience is seamlessly interwoven with the physical world such that it is perceived as an immersive aspect of the real environment. In this way, augmented reality alters one's ongoing perception of a real-world environment, whereas virtual reality completely replaces the user's real-world environment with a simulated one.

Projection Mapping

Projection Mapping is a technology that transforms objects, often irregularly shaped, into a display surface for video projection. Unlike XR, VR, and AR, which typically involve personal devices like headsets or smartphones to create immersive experiences, projection mapping uses projectors to display images onto physical surfaces, such as buildings, stages, or even small objects. This technique can create dynamic visual effects that interact with the physical form of the object, making it appear as though the object itself is animated or transformed.

The Sphere in Vegas and Cosm in Inglewood are examples of popular 360 Dome projection mapped attractions. MichelleLynn assisted in the production and delivery of similar work for Wisdome.LA, a predecessor to both experiences in 2019. Projection mapping is often used in art installations, concerts, and advertising to create visually stunning experiences that enhance the real-world environment without the need for personal viewing devices..
